Sgt. 1st Class Russell J. Hull, a horizontal construction engineer assigned to the 37th Brigade Engineer Battalion, describes the process for constructing the TAA. Capt. Geoffrey D. Ross, commander of the C Battery, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, describes the U.S. indirect fire support mission to maneuvering Iraqi security forces provided from the TAA. The 2nd BCT, 82nd Abn. Div., deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, enables their Iraqi security force partners through the advise and assist mission, contributing planning, intelligence collection and analysis, force protection, and precision fires to achieve the military defeat of ISIS.
