Marines prepare for the upcoming Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force deployment by participating in Integrated Training Exercise 2-17 at Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., from January to February 2017. A SPMAGTF is a group of Air and Ground combat elements with many capabilities that come together to form one unit with a specific mission. Marines conducted exercises during ITX 2-17 to hone in on those capabilities and learn how to work in sync with one another. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Justin Huffty)
