Team JSTARS supports combatant commanders around the globe from their sole location at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Feb. 3, 2017. Team JSTARS is a unique total force integration associate wing comprised of the Georgia Air National Guard’s 116th Air Control Wing (ACW), U.S. Air Force active duty 461st ACW and the U.S. Army 138 Military Intelligence Company. Flying the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft, the unit provides manned airborne battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to combatant commanders. In addition to the flying operations, the 116th ACW provides a variety of domestic operations to support the state of Georgia and the Southeast U.S. This video showcases the variety of mission sets performed by Team JSTARS.
