Recruits of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, and Oscar Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, learned the basics of marksmanship Jan. 9-13, 2017, on Parris Island, S.C. For one week, recruits spend several hours each day learning about marksmanship fundamentals and becoming more comfortable with each shooting position.
