Former Virginia senator James Webb was the guest speaker at the change of command for Joint Region Marianas on Guam. U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Bette Bolivar relinquished command to Rear Adm. Shoshana Chatfield in a ceremony in Mangilao, Guam, Jan. 27, 2017. As Commander of Joint Region Marianas, Chatfield is also the senior U.S. Defense Representative for Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau; Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas; and Commander, Task Force West.
