Traveling for the holidays? The Wright-Patterson Safety Office has a few tips to make sure you arrive safely! Always keep an emergency kit in your car with basic survival tools such as water, snacks, a blanket, and a first aid kit. When planning your trip, be sure to allow enough time to get there. You should only drive 8 hours a day and make frequent stops. Also, before you leave be sure to check your vehicle's tire pressure, headlights, and turn signals. Lastly, if your wipers are on, your headlights should be too! From all of us here at 88th Public Affairs, happy holidays and safe travels!
