Christopher Pelkey, a native of Concord, N.C., and also a machine gunner attached to 3rd MLG, III MEF, to assemble the M2 Browning .50 Caliber Rifle on Dec. 9, 2016 at Ie Shima Island in Okinawa, Japan.
