With the Ramstein Dust II-16 exercise, the Deployable Air Command and Control Centre (DACCC) wants to demonstrate its capabilities. The DACCC has been deployed to the Decimomannu Air Base (Sardinia, Italy) from its permanent site in Poggio Renatico, Italy from 4 November 2016. The convoy with more than 100 personnel arrived at the base after having travelled by ferry and road, and immediately began the build-up of the tactical deployment site.
