After pushing through the last nine miles of the Crucible, the 54-hour culminating event of recruit training, recruits of Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, and November Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, arrived at the Iwo Jima flag raising statue Oct. 29, 2016, on Parris Island, S.C. The Crucible is the final test before earning the title Marine. Both companies are scheduled to graduate Nov. 4, 2016. (Video by Lance Cpl. Carlin Warren)
