Marines and civilians with Marine Corps Systems Command gave training on the second-generation Ground Renewable Expeditionary Energy Network System, or GREENS, which converts solar energy into electricity, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Oct. 25, 2016. The training, part of the “Great Green Fleet” campaign, was part of the Navy and Marine Corps’ efforts to transform energy while decreasing fossil-fuel consumption.
