USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) returns to Naval Station Norfolk following relief efforts in Haiti. This and other assets responded with a coordinated initial military assistance response to the government of Haiti's request for aid following Hurricane Matthew, a Category IV storm, which hit the area causing widespread destruction.
