A C-130J from the 317th Airlift Group was tasked to deliver supplies to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to support the Hurricane Matthew relief effort. The role of the U.S. military forces during this disaster relief mission is to rapidly respond with critically-needed capabilities to deliver assistance and aid to areas the government of Haiti deems most necessary.
