Amphibious assault vehicles and a landing craft air cushion hovercraft land at the Naval Base Guam Reserve Landing Craft Beach to conduct a mechanized raid during Exercise Valiant Shield 16, Sept. 20, 2016. The battalion landing team from 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, executed the raid to seize operationally significant terrain for follow on operations as part of island seizure for the exercise.
