The F-35A Lightning II achieved intial operating capability on Aug. 4, 2016 when it was announced that the 34th Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base had completed all milestones and became combat ready. This video was produced for the IOC celebration ceremony held at Hill Air Force Base on Aug. 5, 2016 marking the first combat ready F-35A squadron in the U.S. Air Force.
