NEW ORLEANS – Lt.j.g. Simon Gottenberg, a pilot at Air Station New Orleans, shares his personal account from rescues conducted on Saturday in the Baton Rouge area.

Coast Guard aircrews continue to assist as requested by local authorities. Coast Guard aircrews have rescued more than 118 people and assisted more than 766 people in distress.
