U.S. Senator (R-Texas) Ted Cruz joined Maj. Gen. Pat White, commanding general, 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss, Col. Charles Lombardo, commander, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1AD, and others on an aerial tour of Fort Bliss, Texas and observed tank gunnery tables Aug. 9, 2016. Sen. Cruz fired an M1A2-Abrams and spoke with Soldiers from Company A, 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 2nd BCT, 1 AD, during his visit.
