Lt. Gen. David Berger relinquished command of I Marine Expeditionary Force to Lt. Gen. Lewis Craporatta aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 27, 2016. Craporatta took command after coming from Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms and the Marine Air Ground Task Force were he held the role of commanding general.
