The 943rd Rescue Group flies an HH-60 over the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group. AMARG is a fully operational facility that provides aerospace storage, maintenance and asset regeneration for war fighters of the U.S. and allied nations and other government agencies. Approximately 4,000 aircraft are stored at AMARG because of extreme weather conditions that are ideal for minimizing deterioration and corrosion on air frames. The organization has an acquisition value of $35 billion which saves money for military units throughout the world.
