Interview of Col. Nick Gentile, commander of the South Carolina Air National Guard’s 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., discusses his unit’s recent departure to support a Theater Security Package deployment to the PACAF region. Approximately 300 airmen and 12 F-16 Fighting Falcon jets from the 169th FW are deploying to Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, as the 157th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron in support of the U.S. Pacific Command TSP.
