On Sunday, July 3rd, the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins participated in the first regular-season game of a professional sport ever played on an active military base at Fort Bragg, N.C., in celebration
of the Nation's service members. The 12,000-capacity ballpark was donated by Major League Baseball and tickets were provided free of charge to Fort Bragg and other active-duty military service members
and their families.
