Being able to reach the #USCG in an emergency on the water is important. Do you have the right equipment? We highly recommend a VHF-FM radio in addition to a cell phone and due to the vast distances and remote areas in the Pacific an emergency positioning indicating radio beacon (EPIRB) or personal locator beacon (PLB) can be a life saver by sending us your signal through a satellite link once activated!
