31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Marines participate in underwater egress training to maintain readiness April 12, 2016, on Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan. Prior to each deployment, the 31st MEU is thoroughly trained in a number of unique capabilities during a fast-paced workup cycle. This type of training allows the 31st MEU to be continually ready, even while the MEU is in garrison on Okinawa.
