Resilient Resolve, a bilateral exercise with air power from both Canada and Romania, took place near the Romanian city of Constanta, on the coast of the Black Sea, in March and April 2016.

This contingent of Canadian fighters is the same that was recently flying bombing sorties against ISIL in the Middle East.

Resilient Resolve is a military exercise with CF-18 Hornets from the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and MiG-21 Lancers from the Romanian Air Force, increasing coordination and solidarity between pilots and support personnel from both nations.
