Airmen of the Iowa Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa, go through the Survival Skills training portion of the ancillary training rodeo during their March UTA. The training lightens the annual training load of airmen by combining Self-Aide/Buddy-Care and Survival Skills, so larger numbers of airmen can be trained at once. The training is also good for three years, unless they deploy.
