    U.S. Coast Guard District 13

A boarding team from the Coast Guard Cutter Sea Lion discusses safety violations with the two-man crew of the commercial fishing vessel Malia during a routine living marine resources patrol near Anacortes, Wash. Feb. 3, 2016.

The boarding team found several safety violations, including an inadequate number of life jackets and fire extinguishers on board, which resulted in a Captain of the Port order from Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound that terminated the Malia's voyage and ordered the crew to return to port until the violations have been corrected.
