Marines and sailors gathered for an intimate memorial and remembrance hosted by Marine Aircraft Group 29 at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Jan. 29, 2016, to honor the 12 fallen Marines of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463. Two CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters with HMH-463 were involved in a mishap on Jan. 14, 2016, while conducting a training exercise approximately two miles off the northern coast of Oahu.
