The Air Force noncombatant evacuation exercise program prepares families for emergency situations such as natural disasters and will safely evacuate military family members to a secure location. Flight NEO wardens are responsible for ensuring that family members know what to do, where to go and what they need.
Staff Sgt. Bryan Horn, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron, discusses his role as a NEO warden. He has to be a master at time management, maintain and exceed his normal work expectations. Horn has had a knack for helping people his entire life, making him a perfect fit for this role.
