Marines with Company C., 1st Law Enforcement Battalion, set up a pistol and rifle range then conduct a Combat Marksmanship Program shoot at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 20, 2016. The purpose of the shoot is to perfect Marines’ weapon handling skills and build their confidence shooting both their rifle and pistol at close range. The Marines of Company C. are slated to deploy as a part of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit later this year.
