Citizen soldiers from the Missouri National Guard’s military police companies are headed back home. The guardsmen were called up to support local law enforcement with security and with monitoring traffic control points.
Governor Jay Nixon confirmed the assigned missions were met allowing Adjutant General Steve Danner to release the units. Most of the 3175th from Warrenton, the 1175th from St Clair and the 2175th from Hannibal have gone home. Guardsmen from the 1137th out of Jackson will go home tomorrow.
