    SCRIPT
For members of the Air National Guard, regular training is critical to performing well in the execution of their duties. However that training can often prove useful outside of their duty hours. One such opportunity may be a medical emergency. Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah Helgesen describes the situation when he and his wife came upon a man unconscious and unresponsive in a vehicle.
    Interview: Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah Helgesen
Master Sgt. John Stark also experienced a situation while traveling with his family and came upon an individual who had wrecked his motorcycle. Master Sgt. Stark speaks about how his training, the training all service members receive, kicked in and took over.
    Interview: Master Sgt. John Stark
The self-aid and buddy care training each guardsman receives just may become the most important, in and out of uniform.
For the 122nd Fighter Wing, Public Affairs Office, I’m Staff Sgt. Stephen Bush.
