Fort Campbell medics competed in a three day Best Medic Competition that tested Soldier skills, medical proficiency and physical and mental endurance. On day 1, they completed an obstacle course and land navigation course. Day 2 the medics participated in medical lanes and day 3 was the final road march and completion. Sgt. Gaines Sumrall (Interviewed) placed second in the competition and will represent the 101st with his partner Spc. Kyle Little at the Army Best Medic Competition in San Antonio in November.
