American Soldiers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and Soldiers from the Juozas Vitkus Engineering Battalion, Lithuanian Land Forces prepare defensive positions. The service members are participants of Engineer Thunder, a military exercise focusing on essential engineering tasks. These tasks include fortifying building entry points, establishing fighting positions and concealing vehicles and other equipment. The Troops are working together to devise an effective defense strategy, while utilizing various engineering equipment to implement their plan. The experience gained during Engineer Thunder enhances interoperability among service members, increases mission readiness and builds strong allied partnerships throughout the Baltic Region.
