The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing participated in the San Diego Chargers military appreciation game at Qualcomm Stadium, Aug. 29. The 3rd MAW band and a Marine Corps color guard conducted pregame performances. The commanding general of 3rd MAW, Maj. Gen. Mike Rocco, was chosen as the honorary service member for the coin toss.
