The Coast Guard Academy dedicates a newly planted tree in honor of cadets Soso Makaridze and Besarion Gorjoladze, who were from the country of Georgia and killed in a car crash in March 2015. The tree was a gift from OCS 2-15 and NOAA BOTC 125, which were on board when Makaridze and Gorjoladze were killed.
