The Montana Army National Guard's 1st Battalion,
163rd Infantry Regiment (Combined Arms Battalion), 116th Cavalry
Brigade Combat Team, performs a Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise
(CALFEX) at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. The
exercise incorporated M1A2 Abrams tanks, AH-64D Apache
Helicopters, M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) for breaching
operations and M2A2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles with
dismounted infantry for urban assault.
