An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Ore., hoists a surfer in distress from a rock formation near Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City, Ore., Aug. 16, 2015. The Coast Guard aircrew transferred the surfer to an emergency medical response helicopter crew, who flew him to Portland, Ore., for treatment. U.S. Coast Guard video by Air Station Astoria.
