Raw Video. As part of the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project, US Navy divers working with the US Army Corps of Engineers raised the first test piece of Civil War Ironclad CSS Georgia, November 13, 2013. The 7' x 8' sample of casemate went to Texas A&M University for structural integrity testing. The Georgia must be moved to allow dredging to deepen the harbor from 42' to 47'.
