Approximately 20 U.S. Marines, Sailors and Coastguardsmen assigned toSpecial-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response Africa conducted small-boat operations and maintenance training with more than 35 Compagnie Fusilier de Marin Commandos (COFUMACO) in St. Louis, Senegal, June 29-July 3, 2015. The training enhanced the COFUMACO's proficiency in the water, aiding the U.S. and Senegalese efforts to increase regional stability and strengthen their partnership. The techniques taught included basic engine maintenance, broaching and riding, man overboard drills and patrol formations.
