The island of Guam has some of the most beautiful and interesting waters and beaches a person can find anywhere. That beauty comes with risks. The theme, Knowing the Conditions focuses on getting educated before you go out to ensure you can fully enjoy your time. Knowing the Conditions requires swimmers to know where they are going to swim, the conditions traditionally featured at those locations, and risk factors such as currents, rip tides, coral, waves, and dangerous water life.
This is the second of three themes for Andersen Air Force Base's water safety campaign.
