U.S. Air Force Aerial Evacuation Airmen along with service members from Canada and the UK practice litter carries and loading patients onto aircraft on 16 June, 2015 for exercise Patriot Warrior 2015. Patriot Warrior is a joint exercise designed to demonstrate contingency deployment training ranging from bare base buildup to full operational capabilities. It supports Exercise Global Lightning, a Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) including Global Medic 15 and Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise 15 (QLLEX). Over 6,500 members from U.S. service components including Air Force, Army, and Navy (Active, Guard, and Reserve) participated alongside British and Canadian forces.
