U.S. and ROK Marines execute a hose-reel system portion of an Amphibious Assault Fuel System June 5 at Doksukri Training Area, Republic of Korea, during Korean Military Exchange Program 15.9. The Marines
worked together to lay down 3.4 kilometers of hose that led to an inland fuel farm. The Marines were pumping
200,000 gallons of simulated fuel from a notional offshore petroleum distribution system to an inland fuel farm.
This training provided an opportunity for ROK and U.S. Marines to build upon their combined logistical
capabilities.
