U.S. Marines with Combined Anti-Armor Team 1, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, and Australian soldiers with Direct Fire Support Weapon Platoon, 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, 1st Brigade, conduct bilateral live-fire training during Exercise Predator Walk, May 20 to June 5, at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The exercises included firing heavy machine guns and missiles at mock targets from a support by fire position. Exercise Predator Walk is a battalion-level combined-arms Marine Air Ground Task Force exercise with the Australian Army, designed to enhance the skills of the ground combat, aviation combat and support element.
