The Oregon National Guard's participation in Vigilant Guard-Makani Pahili 2015. More than 200 soldiers from Oregon's CERFP team set up the footprint, evacuated and tended to simulated causalities in this disaster relief exercise. Vigilant Guard is a United States Northern Command and National Guard Program. The program provides an opportunity to improve collaborative efforts in regard to emergency preparation, coordination, and response and recovery management with federal, regional, local, civilian and military partners during domestic emergencies and catastrophic events.
