The pararescuemen are assigned to the 304th Rescue Squadron at Portland Air National Guard Base, Oregon. Angel Thunder is the world’s largest personnel recovery exercise, hosting 11 partner nations and nine inter-agencies at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
