Rear Adm. Jake Korn retired after 36 years of military service and is now proceeded by Rear Adm. Scott Buschman as the Coast Guard 7th District commander. The change of command and retirement ceremonies were held at Coast Guard Air Station Miami and were presided over by Coast Guard Atlantic Area Commander Vice Admiral Dean Lee and Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Paul Zukunft.
