    SSgt. Ramir Sola, a squad leader with 12th Marine battalion of the Philippine Marine Corps talks about what it’s like being a Marine in the Filipino Armed Forces. Sola also speaks about his experience working with the U.S. Forces during Exercise Balikatan 2015 after conducting an air assault in Crow Valley, Philippines, April 23. The assault was conducted in tandem with U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment. Balikatan is an annual Philippines-U.S. military training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement, which highlights the long standing partnership between both the nations.
