    In a ceremony officiated by Commandant of the Coast Guard, Adm. Paul Zukunft, Rear Adm. Jake Korn passes the title and traditional gear of the Ancient Albatross to Vice Adm. Charles Ray, at Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans, April 6, 2015.

    The Ancient Albatross is the title awarded to the Coast Guard aviator who has the most time in service. There are two categories, one for enlisted and the other for commissioned officers.
