Chief petty officers aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) observe the 122nd birthday of the chief petty officer rank. Theodore Roosevelt is part of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group (TRCSG), which is composed of Carrier Air Wing 1, the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CC 60), and the guided missile destroyers USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) and USS Farragut (DDG 90) and USS Winston S.
