Sailors aboard aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) participate in a replenishment at sea (RIS) with USS Winston Churchill (DDG 81). Ships conduct RAS during prolonged periods at sea to resupply equipment, goods and fuel. Theodore Roosevelt and its Sailors are currently deployed and will conduct operations in the 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility supporting maritime security operations in international waters around the world.
