U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa trained with Army Special Forces to complete an urban maneuver course at Baumholder, Germany, March 5, 2015. The training taught the Marines to use the hidden passageways that abound in urban environments to conceal their movements. It also prepared them to work as a team to scale walls, climb through windows and over rafters. The course provided an opportunity for the Marines to familiarize themselves with techniques for using specialized scaling ladders and even common household furnishing to move into and over structures.
